Lara and Kevin have both recently published books on Trauma Responsive Care and how to implement it. Both works are published by NADD Press and are available through NADD and on Amazon.
The books are companion volumes: Lara's The Way Through covers the clinical, interactional side of Trauma Responsive Care (what it is) and Kevin's The Way Forward deals with the organizational side (how to do it). Together, they are a comprehensive model, for everyone from the direct support professional to the therapist; the frontline supervisor to the CEO.
Also, Lara's second book, The Sum of Light: Preventing and Healing Empathetic Distress, Moral Injury, and Burnout in Helping Professionals, has hit the shelves.
